Route 66

May 22 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

$7.25

Also known as The Main Street of America, Route 66 symbolizes the quintessential all-American highway, inspiring road trips from Illinois to California. Commissioned in 1926, Route 66 was one of America’s original highways, allowing for increased Western migration while supporting small communities along the way.

Although the official Route 66 highway was decommissioned in 1985, nostalgia and lore surrounding it live on. Every year, avid road-trippers continue to make the cross-country trip, inspiring new generations of adventurers to carry on its spirit of carefree adventure.

Join us on the Klages patio outside the Bruin Den for a culinary road trip as we prepare menu specials reminiscent of the Route 66 eateries.

Keep track of your road trip by picking up a punch card at the café register. Each time you purchase a featured Route 66 menu special, you’ll get a stamp on your card. Completed punch cards will be entered into a drawing to win a Route 66 themed prize!
